Day 17 At the Cape

Lots of fun at the cape. A Japanese cyclists proudly showed me his Bike Friday - Tiket. I was jealous of it's folding abilities!!!
He is on Hokkaido for 10 days of cycling but comes here almost every year to do a different section.
I pitched my tent just beside this wooden rotunda. Many guests dropped by to chat. This lovely couple came with a full meal for me - salmon, cooked crab, tofu, soup, rice, seasonings, tea. We laughed and had an amazing evening. They then invited me into their campervan - a lovely gesture. A delightful evening. Thank you.
