Bid farewell to the kind owner of the Wakkani Youth Hostel. On the road by 8am expecting just to scoot down the coast but it's 14 degrees C, and there's a great head wind. As the day progresses the wind is really fatiguing and whipping up the sea, great pounding waves and it reminds me of why this coast is so treacherous for ships. In winter they have icebergs here. cover 118km and very tired by time I make camp.
