Awake early with the squawking birds, pack up and decide that the bike needs a super clean. Solve a gear problem that potential sounded nasty. Navigate through Asahikawa to the southern side and onto Route 237. On the outskirts of Biei stopped at a lovely flower farm, oh yes the lavender are now in full bloom - oh it's so gorgeous. Cycle along quaint back roads enjoying the flowers, mountains and sunshine. I'm in love with lavender!!!
